Leaves white marks on hands and clothing, may be harmful.

I used black silicone strap from other manufacturers and the dye is fused into the silicone. This white roller will drop a white film/powder onto anything it touches. It's from China and who knows if it's safe. Never.

Self-merge, if you don't know, do it and be amazed.

If you haven't used it, buy it. I keep buns everywhere. One day I blew out the radiator assembly (the steel threads under pressure) and sealed it with this tape and got to the house. I swear my repair was better than the replacement tube I bought. I use it for leaky plumbing, electrical connections, it's self-fusing, useful for everything.

Works well in some applications

I'll start by saying that self-adhesive tape rarely lasts long (at least tape in this price range). But when used as a starting layer, it works well. I love that it fits snugly, creates a waterproof connection, and can be stretched to cover almost any shape. At first I thought this tape was one of mankind's greatest inventions, but over time I became less than impressed with the results. The tape has peeled off my outdoor projects (water hose, PVC pipe) but still holds strong on indoor…

The trick is to stretch and wrap

and stretch and wrap to hold the tension on the tape and finish so the last 1/2-1 inch doesn't overlap the previous ones and it sticks to itself. If you don't stretch it, it will NOT connect. ADVANTAGES: Self-merge so the layer becomes one with the next. Useful for temporary repairs of rigid pipes, cable ties, electrical wires and cables. There is no glue so it can be removed without leaving any residue. CONS: Unlike some self-adhesive tapes, it doesn't stay stretched unless constant tension is
