Zoo Med Hermit Thermometer Humidity Review

I bought this product because I didn't know how to monitor humidity in Krabitat. I got this and immediately the humidity was too high. If I had to guess I'd think it's too low so glad I got it otherwise I'd keep trying to increase the humidity and kill my crabs. Temperature varies, which I think is pretty accurate. If he had never moved, I would be worried.

I'm only giving three stars because the product works but I'm a little disappointed we didn't get one that glows in the dark. When I saw that the description said colors may vary I figured it would still glow in the dark. The stock photo used is intentionally misleading and should be replaced with a photo that does not glow in the dark. If you're looking to buy this and more importantly want glow in the dark, order elsewhere as you probably won't get it here!

UPDATE: Less than two months later both sensors stopped working. First the temperature, then the humidity. I know it wasn't the most expensive product but you expected something to last more than two months. I have not bought. Instead, I opted for the Zilla model. So far this item has worked quite well.
