I was invited to try Gods Unchained via promotional link. The game describes itself as an online trading card game where the players truly own their digital assets (cards) in the form of non fungible tokens. Ok, sounds good to me.
I signed up for the game and was required to download the desktop application. The system runs smooth and the game's graphics are surprisingly mature.
The game starts with a tutorial and then you're off to the races. The in game reward system gives packs of cards for games won and experience points gained. You are also give in game currency that you can use to buy rare cards.
Overall the game play is identical to Hearthstone, this is fine by me- it is tested and has been proven to work. I worry that God Unchained's downfall is stiff competition.
You are required to play on a desktop or laptop there is currently no mobile support.
Would recommend to someone who is willing to grind through the play ladder to score high value cards that can be sold in the marketplace.
