Review on Gods Unchained by Gabriel Medina

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A game based on Hearthstone

Gods Unchained is a digital card game where the cards are digital assets within the Ethereum network (ERC721 type certificates). It runs on centralized servers, but the cards are unique and can be traded with other gamers (bought or sold). One of its most important investors is Coinbase. Without a doubt, a more interesting genius will be the competitive one in which you can even bet cards, a shame because surely those with more money will end up having better cards and some advantage, but they say that the game is balanced in a way that can have a competitive deck without spending a lot of money. Also, since you can buy cards, you can build the deck you want for a specific style that does not require a large investment. It seems to me that it is a game with many nuances and the fact that it is mounted on the Ethereum blockchain and that they can be exchanged with ether gives a lot of value to this game.
The game has certainly caught the attention of investors, however current data shows that daily active users are still quite low.
To conclude, God Unchained is really very interesting and fun, although many first-time players see it as Heartstone. A game that allows users to buy, sell and trade in its market, an amazing card system to exchange for eth. It is really a game that allows one to have fun and also earn some cyptos by doing so.

Pros
  • It is backed by Coinbase.
  • It is based on Hearthstone in terms of gameplay, game design, etc.
  • It's easy to get involved and buy some rare or common cards.
  • Quite fun and playable.
  • It has a very engaged community creating content about the game.
Cons
  • Problems for new users who do not know Ethereum well.
  • The gameplay is very repetitive.
  • Cards can lose value over time.
