Splinterlands: Collectable Digital Card Game.

Splinterlands has paid me the equivalent of over AU$300 since the beginning of 2020 just from someone using my affiliate link. I have no idea how much money I have made from leasing or selling cards or from the in-game currency over the last 2 years of gameplay, but it's definitely been one of the few 100% straight profit investments I have ever made.

Gameplay is simple to learn, difficult to master. The winner of each match is determined by the program itself, and your real gameplay is the team selection within various limitations like Splinter (colour / element), mana cost, and match rules change each time.

I'm currently in the Gold III league where I will win 18 free cards this fortnightly season, but I do hope to climb into the Diamond leagues.

Pros
  • Earning Steem by playing with, selling, leasing, or delegating cards.
  • Included Steemit account means you can use DTube, etc.
  • An affiliate link which pays you to onboard your friends.
  • It's own in-game currency, Dark Energy Crystals, can be sold for crypto.
  • Each card is an NFT that can be used in other games like Tides of Magic.
  • Fast game play, tournaments, rankings and guild memberships.
Cons
  • People begging for free Summoner Spellbook codes, (only US$10)
  • The occasional error displaying rewards.
  • The game is still very much in it's beta stages. It is improving all of the time.

It won't let me edit this, but I needed to clarify. There was over AU$300 worth of booster packs bought through the affiliate link, which translates to AU$15.25 or 5% just from this year alone.
