The card section of the blockchain games is the type of game I never believed I will end up enjoying, this is because I don't really like strategy games but prefer the action type of games. This perspective of mine changed after I got introduced to the blockchain network by a friend and after playing some of the blockchain games, my mindset changed completely.
One of such games that got me interested in card games is the Splinterlands. It is a game that requires it's players to gather enough cards so as to win any battle against real players out there. These cards can be purchased and sold out and in that way, one can earn. The cards are comes in their diversities and ranks which includes: Novice, bronze, silver, gold, diamond and champion. The higher the rank, the higher the possibility of wining the battle against other players out there.
Setting up an account is as simple and straightforward as you can think. The first thing you would need is your Steem account. I got mine at the price of $10, after which one would have to fund regularly so as to buy the cards (which cost $2 per pack of a card). Although at the beginning of the game, the new player would be gifted some cards which can be used for a while pending till the time the player would fund the account. Buying cards would be necessary because as one progress, the battles get tougher making the purchase of new cards necessary.
