Pros
- - Generates passive income through GAS generation when held in a compatible wallet - Growing range of high quality dApps, such as DBC, RPX, QLINK and APEX - Super fast - block generation rate around 25s and plans to decrease, only 1 confirmation needed - No transaction fees - Able to currently handle 1000s of transactions/second, aiming at 100x this by 2020 - Active enthusiastic community - Partnerships with companies such as Microsoft and Alibaba, support from Chinese government
Cons
- - only 11 nodes currently, so not fully decentralised - high cost to launch a dApp on the network may hinder innovation - and while there are grants available, this is subjective - only whole numbers of NEO can be transferred (though this does not apply to GAS)
