2003 Corolla with Noise Fix (was)

Item fits like original. Was about $25 cheaper than the parts store for the same part. hope it lasts The car had a rattling noise and after checking for the noise I saw that it looked like a problem. Pushed down with a crowbar, the noise was gone. Now rest after exchange. It's a good time to change the strap even if it's off. Replace a little painful. I had to loosen 3 engine mounting bolts to raise the engine about 1/2 inch to have room to remove the bolt on the tensioner. The belt is also…

Pontiac Vibe best belt tensioner

Picked this up for a Pontiac Vibe 03 (base 2wd) after the original wore out and was making noise. Revain was almost half the price of local parts stores and I got it in 2 days with Prime. My only complaint is that the "shock" on this unit seems to be a bit cheaper than the OEM unit, but I can't complain too much given the discounted price. the famous "marble in the glass" sound from the tensioner. 2006 Corolla Belt Tensioner

The serpentine belt tensioner assembly sold by Dayco is identical to the Toyota OEM tensioner, with the same numbers and "Slovakia" on the metal body. The box said it was made in Germany but the unit was stamped in Slovakia so I'm guessing it was assembled in Slovakia with German made parts. the same mileage.
