Accurate Garage Hinge Gauge in Galvanized Finish: Ensuring Precise Installations Review

When ordering a garage door hinge, the hinge number is important. I needed a "3" loop. It was a "3", so an exact replacement for the broken hinge. Four screws, removed the old broken hinge and four screws to reattach it to the garage door. Just remember to insert the pulley before the first screw. The loop works fine. This hinge was a direct replacement for my broken one. The key to the correct replacement is the number printed on the old hinge: 1, 2 or 3! It would be helpful if the seller would post the actual length and width measurements in case you can't find the # printed on the old buttonhole. The hinge is great and in fact after further inspection of the other hinges on my garage door I found two more that were cracked (tired) so I ordered two more.

This hinge fits perfectly. it's strong I received it very quickly so I could install it to be able to use my garage door. I noted in a review that it didn't get a good rating because it caused the roller to rise too high to fit the track and the buyer didn't realize that each hinge on the door was a different height for the roller had to move the door. right up and down. Each loop is numbered. I only needed loop number 3 which was damaged and that's it. So easy to fix my door. Thank goodness…
