It worked wonderfully. Works with 8mm hex wrench

Unique tool for carbon cranks. 16 Mill is an odd size. It worked wonderfully. Works with 8mm Allen key. So you can have this in your kit and not add any weight.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Poor design - clasps

I appreciate that this part exists but wish it was better designed. You either need a) a border on the outside, or b) the length is 2-3 times longer. In the current design, it easily falls into the void behind a 10mm hole. Not only is this annoying and time consuming, it can also result in the 10mm hole in the cap chipping.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Much easier than expected based on reviews

I read a few reviews on this product saying it feels cheap (it's solid metal, I was expecting plastic on it ) and that it wasn't that easy to use and it would be better to get an outlet. It couldn't be easier to use. Plug it into the handle that's so deep, add 8mm, easy. A 16 mm head is 2-3 times more expensive. I'm glad I went for it, but the reviews made the decision harder than it should have been.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Some flaws

Ridiculous requirements for an RF tool to install the main parts.

After 35 years of collecting bike tools, why does Race Face make it necessary to go out and buy ridiculous proprietary tools to install their cheap bottom brackets and cranks? Buy a 16mm hex wrench adapter from RF because they literally can't be found at Home Depot or Lowes or Ace or anywhere else in the world. framework. Instead of a customer investing in their own RF products and making them loyal, how about they just cut it out and make it a regular piece of hardware?

Pros
  • Stylish and Modern Design
Cons
  • Slightly Crumpled
