Not impressed with the kitchen and dining area

I'm a retired chef. Bought this set of knives to take home. Almost a year later I noticed that I had two cracks on the chef's knife and one crack on the handle of a double knife. Rust spots will gradually form on some steak knives. I have 35 year old chef's knives that I still use and they retain their sharpness better. There are no cracks on the blades. Surprisingly one of these is from the same manufacturer and still great.

inferior quality. The best in kitchen and dining

These knives arrived damaged and with a rusty handle. They were made cheaply. The photo shows that there is a gap between the black and silver parts of the knife handle. There was brownish rust in this gap and on the silver part. I deleted it before taking the picture. If the brown stuff "should" be there, it's not. inferior quality. I don't pay $80 for crappy knives. I returned them. hp I read reviews that they rust but bought them anyway because I hand wash dishes and they don't stay wet for…

Good knives for the price

Obviously these aren't top of the range knives, whatever that sounds like; However, they are sturdy and get the job done. I would definitely recommend it as a knife set for beginners. I've been using my set for about 2 years and haven't encountered many problems. Yes, the device comes with built-in sharpeners for large knives; However, they didn't work as well as I had hoped and I still have to sharpen my knives with a separate sharpener. The handles are light, which I like, although the blades

Terrible product Best in Knife Block Sets

I ordered this knife block and it was really worn out. It was dropped so that a dent was formed, due to which the tree also split. It also had superficial scratches and the identification plate was bent. All of this was quite noticeable. He was also very tall, sticking out a long way! If you don't have an island in the kitchen where you're going to use it, it takes up 75% of the counter. The knives came individually wrapped with numbers on them but they made no sense and there were no…

Good. in kitchen and dining room

Difficult to rate Good You are sharp. I recommend running your steak knives over the steel if you have it. Then use the sharpener on the block. They look good and if you sharpen cutting knives they will be sharp. Poorly. The block really wants to tip on you when you pull out the knife - come on Sabatier. Blades are thin. I have a "real" set of Sabtier knives and the difference in weight and size between this set and the "real" ones is obvious. Rust drives me insane. ALL STEEL/STAINLESS STEEL…

The best serrated knife set I could ask for.

I looked EVERYWHERE for a cheap knife set that had steak knives WITHOUT serrations. I swear it was like finding Nemo. The only sets I could find were WAY overpriced and I almost resigned myself to buying 4-8 decent quality paring knives and just using them with my existing knife set. Then I came across this set of knives recommended on the website. I had my doubts but for the price I was like what the heck. I'm glad I bought them. Each knife has a decent "weight", feels solid in my hand and is…
