Extremely bright - hand lamps

So far this is a great light. Extremely bright. The charger has a micro USB slot, which was unexpected. The light lies comfortably in the hand. Battery life is good even at maximum intensity.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • No car

durability and brightness.

These Strion lights are incredibly durable and produce extremely bright light. I work in law enforcement and I would never use any other flashlight. The battery life is at least 4 hours and although the head of the flashlight gets a little warm, this does not affect the function. Durability wise I had to smash a car window using a lamp head which flared up on the second hit and is still burning. The flashlight only got small scratches and still works today. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Not the brightest, but great price!

I've always had full size Streamlights, this is my first compact size. It has good holding weight, wide beam spectrum. Simple push of a button. I love that I can charge it with the included charger, plug it into my car's cigarette lighter charger, or plug it into an outlet. I take this campsite with me and also use it to see my dog in the farthest corners of my backyard at night. Does what it's supposed to and is very bright. Not as bright as the full version but still able to light up the…

Can't live without!

I'm a girl and I have to tell you I loved it so much I bought three! I have one in my car that I charge from the cigarette lighter. One in the garage, one in the kitchen. I use it all the time and only have to charge it once a month. Charging is surprisingly quick and won't damage the charger or the light if you leave it on the charger. I had a larger and older version and was always worried about recharging it. I like this light because the beam is so bright and compact. I've had other…

Stop looking this is the flashlight you need

Stiron I've had about 5 years of hard and constant use and hands down one of the best flashlights that I've ever had. Great combination of spot and flood light, bright white light, very durable and almost unbelievable battery life. I just recently replaced it after dropping the old one in an elevator shaft and it worked 95% for about half a year after that, but that 5-6 floor fall made a difference and I could thank it for the service no longer trust. It could have been longer to be honest, but

  • High score for support and durability from testers
Cons

Three months without success.

I have owned many Surefires and Streamlights over the past two decades. In particular, I had two cars of this model. The last one I bought (an upgraded version of the original with higher lumens) broke down after about three months. I contacted Streamlight and they told me that the rear derailleur is most likely defective. I went ahead and bought another tail switch and it still didn't work. Changing batteries doesn't work either. It seems that companies that continue the lumen war are not…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Man, that thing is BRIGHT! I have another Strion that is a few years old that is around 260-300 lumens and I love it. Received this and found it to be a "High Lumen" model at 500 lumens! It works great on my old charger and is insanely bright! I have a 1000 lumen artificial light and it doesn't seem to get much brighter, if at all. Many cheap flashlights overestimate their lumens for wow factor. Streamlight rates its lights correctly. My old Strion and even older Stinger LED DS are still as…

Very happy with this flashlight

I was a little apprehensive about spending that much on a duty belt flashlight but I'm glad I did. It is very bright and has different settings. There's a high power, low power, and strobe setting, and it's easy to switch between them. This has saved me from lugging around the traditional mag light when going into buildings to search or whatever. It's always on your belt and ready to hand. It holds a charge very well and hasn't faded on me yet. It's also made from a very lightweight material…
