I'm tired of moving my brace from one place to another so I use the one I just bought on the side of the belt. For me it's worth the money.

Mine arrived with a very uncomfortable burr that cut me near the base of the threaded rod. The Tormek is VERY expensive for what it is, but I needed it for my bench grinder, so I bit the bullet and "overpaid" for it.

I bought a universal stand along with a diamond dresser for my 10 year old Tormek. Wow. The water wheel was so "out of round" that my tools moved up and down as the wheel turned. Problem solved. I would also fix the sides of the wheel.

After using Tormek for 1.5 years I saw this item on a youtube video and wanted to buy it. This really makes it a lot easier to fine tune to the angle of the device being sharpened. It is very convenient and useful for great work.

Setting bar saves tools when copying a bevel or simply trimming the edge of a tool. This allows for accurate positioning of the existing chamfer on the wheel. Since the wheel actually shrinks in circumference as you use it, simply make a mark on the old stem and the adjustment will not match the perfect chamfer you eventually found.
