This exchange has been one of the best crypto exchanges for a long time and before the famous hacking of this exchange in 2016 (Which I remember caused a relatively sharp drop in bitcoin at the time)
, it was one of the most secure bitcoin trading platforms for a long time.
The exchange has its headquarters in Hong Kong, but due to the American ownership of the exchange, ifinex Inc. is subject to US sanctions and residents of some countries under US sanctions can not use the exchange.
Pros
- Although a large amount of the exchange's capital was hacked in 2016, it returned all stolen user assets in the shortest possible time.
- It is one of the first online trading platforms for bitcoin trades
Cons
- as ifinex is American, it includes strict USA sanctions
