Not much to it, that’s a good thing.

Rigged it up without any problem. I don’t have it in the best spot and I don’t have it at the best angle but guess what? I’m still pulling in 80-90 watts. I have a battery recharging a Nintendo switch, a paper white kindle, 2 kindle fires, and a pair of cell phones. It’s not going to make a huge dent in the electric bill but it IS starting the convince the wife that it’s worth investing money into a larger system. And that is a future win in the making boys

Pros
  • Performed as described!Very reliable!Well built!
Cons
  • Limited customer support or troubleshooting resources

Great panel for the price

Interesting that Revain includes warmth as a category to rate. Let’s see, black material under glass. Does it get warm in the sun? Of course it does. Just keep underside open as much as possible. Everything else is exactly as expected in a solar panel. I didn’t notice at first but I was sent a 180w and not a 170w. At least that’s what the panel says. So not sure. BourgeRv did come out with a 180 so maybe I got it by mistake? Anyway, on my Bluetti power station it peaks out around 130w or so. It

Pros
  • As described! Works great!
Cons
  • Only produces 12 volts of power, limiting its versatility

got 2 1 was damaged and cant contact them

panal has damage and no i didnot damage the tile since its under a glass panal not putting out corect voltage so i call over and over and over and no response and the call back is disabled so i cant contact them to say i need a new one since they send me a damaged panal also had frame bent and now im off shore and have no addrase to send it back from or recive new one cuz im off shore and will be off shore for about a year out at sea with low power 🥺😭 the panal is no good very slow charging…

Pros
  • works fine
Cons
  • The panel was so shattered and the frame was sheared that it was not able to be tested

After I received my eight 180-watt panels, I unpacked them all and inspected them for shipping damages, since the boxes looked like they had been through a lot. There were a number of dents and bends on the frames, so I took photos to make BougeRV aware of the damage. The glass and cells all seemed undamaged, so I wasn't too worried about getting any replacement panels. BougeRV customer support was great, assured me that none of the damage would affect their performance or lifetime, but sent me

Pros
  • Good value and great packaging
Cons
  • May require additional wiring or hardware for installation

Best quality I've seen, great output!

I'll come back for a more full review when I have time, but I am testing 2 of these right now, and I'm happy with the performance, so I'll be buying 2 more. I'm kinda bummed the price went up from 149 to 155 in only a couple days though /:These are producing 130 watts each for me when lying flat and 153 watts when held to be aimed perfectly at the sun. That's the output that should be expected, so I'm very happy. I just returned the 190w Richsolar panels because they had lower performance than…

Pros
  • Great deal. Great craftsmanship.
Cons
  • Only suitable for outdoor use

Things to know ! good for me

Be aware !I received this by the US Postal service ?I happened to be home at the time of delivery & watched the postal person place it flat on top my driveway as I stood outside my front door.I took the box inside & found the packaging tape that keeps the box sealed already cut open !I removed the panel from the box and inspected it & looked OK but have not tested it as of yet.Why the packaging tape was cut open is anyone guess !

Pros
  • Generators & Portable Power
Cons
  • Fairly heavy and difficult to move around once installed

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Be careful unpacking

Neither panel was damaged during shipping. The packaging is above average. However, one panel looks like it was damaged during manufacturing creating a dangerous situation. I’m glad I noticed it before running my hand down the side of the panel. I should be able to use a file to clean this up. I have not connected these to my Bluetti as it will not arrive until next week. Will update then.

Pros
  • This was a wise investment.
Cons
  • Guess I'm just lucky they didn't burn my camper down! At least I got a refund!

Meets electrical ratings as advertised/great value.

I'm not done running the landscape rope lights, have 200 out of 500 feet ran. This panel charges a 400 ah battery bank very well! For the price, power output, and size of the panel, it's excellent for what I'm doing. Absolutely would I recommend this to others. I will be running the lights for about 30 minutes a night so I can walk the dog to the bathroom when I get home from work (2nd shift). On weekends, I plan on running the lights for a few hours a day if we have friends over for a bonfire,

Pros
  • Like the output even in low light
Cons
  • Unsure of the quality of the solar cells used in manufacturing

Works as it should during quick test.

I wanted a portable solar panel to setup in the event we are tucked into the woods and the mounted solar wasn’t getting sun. While I haven’t fully tested this out in the world, I did hook it up to make sure it worked being it was November and camper is winterized. Keep in mind the sun this time of year is not as high and strong, so getting 148 out of 180 watt is good for me.I may purchase more for the roof if I have enough real estate up there.

Pros
  • Designed to work well in a variety of environments, from RVs to boats
Cons
  • May not fit well on certain roof types or angles

Expect shattered glass on delivery

The panels are nice. I have ordered 10 or so. As with every other time I order solar panels from Revain they arrive broken.

Pros
  • Product is as described excellent service quick shipping
Cons
  • May not perform as efficiently in partially shaded areas

170 Watts.lot of watts for the buck

Arrived quick and packaged nicely. Set it up with a battery on soon after getting it and worked as advertised. Going on the roof and will be used with a portable power station. I'll probably buy another!

Pros
  • Well packaged. No damage.
Cons
  • No USB ports or built-in charging cables included

Work fine but delivered scraped

They operate normally but one panel of the two I bought arrived with the frame damaged. It’s not the cells themselves so I don’t care personally, but they did send a damaged product nonetheless.

Pros
  • 1-on-1 Solar Solution Support & Warranty
Cons
  • Can be prone to damage from hail or debris

Great Value for my opinion

Bought 2 of the 120w panels for $99.98 each and made a diy suitcase to use on my travel trailer. Hooked up to my brand new Victron Smart Controlet 100/30 with Bluetooth. The installation manual provided by BougeRV in the FAQ on page 9 says to expect about 60-80% of rated output. So I was expecting a high of about 180 watts between the 2 panels. I hooked them up in series with 20’ extension cables to the controller which is about 5’ from the battery using 10 gauge wire for all runs. I was…

Pros
  • Made from durable materials to withstand harsh weather conditions
Cons
  • May not be as energy-efficient as advertised

Surprisingly impressed!

I bought 5 panels for my RV because the price was right.not real sure what to expect, was I surprised! During the peek of sun I was generating 906 watts! 56 watts more than advertised, so far I’m very impressed.I will update as my trips continue.

Pros
  • Weather-resistant, making it ideal for use in harsh outdoor conditions
Cons
  • Not suitable for use in areas with low sunlight or overcast weather

great panels but no longer sold?

They work great! so great I bought a second and now need a third but cannot find any in stock! Did BougeRV discontinue the product?

Pros
  • Requires little maintenance once installed, making it a hassle-free choice
Cons
  • Some customers report difficulty getting a consistent power output

Great value for 180 watts

Just installed and it pumps up our 2 - 6 volt Golf Cart batts quickly even laying flat on the RV roof & in low velocity December winter sun light.

Pros
  • perfect size .easy for one person to install. meets all the spects as it advertises.
Cons
  • Doesn't come with a durable carry bag or case

Worked less than a year

I used this product from May 2020 until now Feb. 2021 and it stopped working. I used it for less than 9 months.BougeRV sent me another panel 200W, Thanks !

Pros
  • Can be easily transported from one location to another
Cons
  • Not as flexible or adaptable as some other solar panel designs

High quality Panel, Great Value

I bought a 180watt 5BB BougeRV to upgrade the solar on the roof of my RV. The product arrived in great shape and with good packaging materials. BougeRV provides panels at a great price per watt. The panel cables were of excellent quality. In the future I hope to add 2 BougeRV 200watt 9BB panels to complete my RV's roof top solar. Great product, Great value.

Pros
  • Works used to charge a solar generator I am using 3 panels for now all the same
Cons
  • Returned for 200 watt units.

Bouge tv sending defective panels thru amazon

I ordered 2 180 panels from this company…I connected 1 panel on a sunny florida day no clouds.both panel are junk panels …producing 27 watts and the other 16 watts…don’t buy from this company…

Pros
  • Can be used as a standalone power source or in conjunction with other solar panels
Cons
  • May require additional mounting brackets or hardware for installation

Packaged Well: my feedback

Got my Bouge 170w Mono panel today. This item had no reviews when I bought it, so I figured I'll some community service today. The outer box package was thick cardboard. Inside the outer box , the business side of the glass was covered with 1/4 foam and some extra cardboard. The narrow ends had some really cool cardboard/foam corners to prevent damage in those areas, too. Impressive packaging.I measured the Voc @ 23.5V in the bright sun @ about 65F air temp. The dims were right on too. 26"+ x…

Pros
  • Provides reliable power even in low light conditions
Cons
  • Not suitable for use with appliances or devices that require AC power
