The autothermostat was set at 60 degrees. I plugged it in and waited for it to heat up, but it never did. The pillow was no warmer than in my car. The sizes were smaller than I thought it would be, but it turned out to be the perfect size for what I needed. I got this for my old puppy who is actually about 11 and has severe arthritis to lie in the back of my truck cab that does not get the maximum amount of heat of the car heater.
