Description of 🚲 Retrospec Cub Kids Balance Bike, Beginner Toddler Bicycle - Steel Frame & Air-Free Tires, Girls & Boys 2-5 Years

CUB BEGINNER BIKES: The petal free Cub bikes cultivate confidence and encourage intuitive riding while developing balance and coordination. With this in mind, kids familiar with a balance bike will more easily transition to a "big-kid" set of wheels. SAFE & LIGHTWEIGHT: This safe beginner's bike reduces the risk of injury by keeping feet and frame low to the ground. Pint-size cyclists are able to zip around while practicing their balancing skills on their legs instead of relying on training wheels. DURABLE FRAME: A low stand-over height, step-through frame, and no-pop tires makes Cub as durable as it is adorable. The high-tensile strength steel frame and fork are virtually indestructible, but your child is not, so always strap on a helmet!. ADJUSTABLE SEAT: The handles and seat post are adjustable, accounting for all inevitable growth spurts! Fits children from 2 to 3 years old with adjustable seat posts and handlebars. NO MAINTENANCE: Cub requires minimal assembly and basically no maintenance. Cub doesn't require brakes, pedals, gears, or even air in the tires! No maintenance means more time spent riding.

Footrest is best, requires higher seat option

My son didn't quite make the switch from his other balance bike to a pedal bike. Everything changed when we bought this bike. He rode it for a week and by the end of the week he was standing and balancing on the footrests. At the end of the week I put him on a pedal bike and he rode. He still enjoys playing on that wheel so money well spent. The only suggestion I have is to offer a bike with a second seat for bigger kids. My son is 4 years old and this seat at the highest point is too low…

Pros
  • Very good value for money

  • Crumpled packaging

A nice balance bike with a small flaw.

Bought this for my almost 2 year old daughter for Christmas and she is still trying to master it. This is a nice little balance bike with a downside. The little footrest in front of the rear wheel can come in handy once she gets moving and can put her feet on her way down a hill, but until then she really gets in the way while her short legs try to turn the bike. forward, pushing off with the back of your foot with each step. Maybe it's still a bit big for her, but at least until she grows up…

Pretty nice little ride

The bike consisted of three parts: a frame with tires mounted, a handlebar and a seat. Both attach with a quick release and are very easy to adjust. It was ready to drive in about 4 minutes! There's really nothing special about this bike other than delivering what the manufacturer promises. The bike is very light and the tires are foam so there are no punctures. If this is a sell/tipping point, then get it now. My daughter rode this bike several times at the end of the summer. The tires seem to

4 and 2 year olds love this bike!

We bought this bike for my (then) 3 year old. It took him a while to get used to it but within a month he was driving really well and now (4 years) he just flies! We got a second one for my 2 year old for his birthday and it's amazing! Attached to the video is my 2 year old riding for the SECOND time (and you can see my 4 year old racing in the background). We LOVE this bike. We bought another one for the younger one first but it was VERY heavy. We ended up selling it and buying this one. This…

Great bike for beginners: Wheels

I bought a very similar bike for my twin. His sister is still getting used to hers. I love that it has room to put your feet up if you're good at it and can roll out. It's about twice as heavy as the other and just as strong. I've only been using it for a few days, so I can't comment on durability. Seeing him getting better every day is really amazing and I look forward to doing the same with her. The main reason is the weight. It's more than twice the weight and both prefer a lighter bike. NO Regrets!: Tricycles, Scooters & Vans

I've been looking for a Revain balance bike for my two year old for months. Every bike seemed to have serious complaints about it. After reading almost all the positive reviews about this bike I decided to spend a little more money on it than some of the others. I was not disappointed with my choice. My son loves this bike! It's the perfect size for him. He feels safe when riding because no one has to help him pedal or keep his balance. The tires are foam (some seem to complain) but my son has…

If your child is crazy about Blippi like me, they will love this bike! And it is not as easy and free to steer and ride as a balance bike. We believe that its safety is an issue is and works as opposed to the balance bike's reason being an easier transition to a two wheeled pedal bike it feels really stiff and hot to the touch when cycling the seat also moves sideways a lot which is inconvenient I probably won't be able to to get my son to give up his new Blippi bike but we need to buy another…

This bike is PERFECT.

Bike arrived today and my 2 year old LOVES this bike. We started him on Y Bike when he was about 7 months and then switched to Yvolution Junior on his first birthday, both were perfect but my baby is big, strong and early walking so he was READY for an upgrade. What the latest bike lacked was a kickstand to mimic future pedals. As a seasoned baby and toddler bike buyer, YOU WANT THIS BIKE. The matte black color is amazing, it's lightweight, it's easy to adjust, it's well built and the wheels…
