Description of HDMI & IR Extender Balun Set via Single 75ohm RG-6U Coax Cable with F Connection

Single Link Range: 1080p/60, 12 bit color depth. Lip-Sync Pass Through. Send HDMI + IR signals over one 75ohm Coaxial cable up to 100M (328ft) away. supports HDMI 1.2 and HDMI 1.3 with features such as Deep Color and 1080p. IMPORTANT: Please make sure that your HDMI display is capable of processing the resolution you will be sending from your HDMI device. For example, if your HDMI display is only capable of 1080i or 720p and you will be sending signal from an Xbox or PS3, the default HDMI resolution for these devices is 1080p so you must manually set output HDMI resolution to 1080i or 720p, whichever is compatible with your HDMI display. When connecting your HDMI device to display directly via an HDMI cable, the HDMI device auto senses the displays capable native HDMI resolution and adjusts itself accordingly. When using these extenders, if HDMI device has an HDMI default output res different from the displays native HDMI res, the adjustment must be made manually. Deep Color Supported (XV Color Supported). Note : This item is HDCP compliant (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection). HDCP is a form of digital copy protection developed by Intel Corporation to prevent copying of digital audio and video content as it travels across connections. Please make sure that all devices linked to these extenders are also HDCP compliant or signal will not pass.

Perfect solution! in video cables

Use these when upgrading a 15 year old setup to HDMI. Since 3-component coax cables already existed, we went with one and the connection was easy. Connect the transmitter to the Denon AVR's HDMI monitor output, the receiver to the Samsung Plasma and switch on the device. It took a few minutes for the HDMI swap to stabilize and then voila, 1080p on the display. I run everything through the AVR: Roku, Apple TV, satellite, etc., so I can't verify that ARC is working properly. This setup fits my…

Rescuer. So excited that this product exists. awesome

I am so grateful that I found this product. It works, which is amazing. It turned my crappy component coax cables into HDMI. I'm really not sure what I would have done if I hadn't found this product. Please note it comes with an IR receiver and transmitter (not pictured). It's great too. I found all the different IR products downright confusing, but in the end I didn't need them at all. It also works (in my case) with an RG-59 cable (which I think is smaller than the advertised RG-6U). to…

BIG setup issue. DOES NOT support interlaced video!

So guys here's what I found. I am using this product to run HDMI 10ft over RG6 from a DirecTV HR24 receiver to my back bedroom TV. Installation was absolute hell. During testing, I got good video from the BluRay player, but nothing from the DirecTV set-top box. That was until I read the instructions. The smallest print states that the product supports 480p, 576p, 720p and 1080p. Guess what's missing from all of this? Do you understand! SUPPORTED. After I set the DirecTV receiver to ONLY show…

They didn't work for me.

I was planning to add more HDMI signals to my home, but I didn't want to run a heavy HDMI cable through walls and ceilings. I already have RG6 cables all over the house. It seemed like a good option and my runs are 40 feet or less. Unfortunately they don't work. The included "manual" was minimal and useless. I've tried every possible connection to my DVR, DVD player and several brands of flat screen TVs. Nothing. I've tried various RG6 cables including a 5 foot RG6 cable that Direct TV left at…

Great, I'll get 2 systems for this.

In addition to a large AV system, I have several smaller TVs that I am slowly upgrading to HD inputs. In some cases I was able to run an HDMI cable through walls. However, there is one wall where this is not possible. The coaxial cable was already going to the TV in that room. This product has been working great since installing it a few days ago. Both minor problems were my fault. First I saw 4 products on the product page. Great, for this price I get 2 systems. I didn't stop to realize that…

Works great

I had high hopes for this product. I used 200 foot coaxial cable (RG6). I finished the ends with compression connectors. I had to run a projector that was 200 feet up in the ceiling. I used it as a second monitor from my computer. It didn't work right away after I set everything up. I had to keep turning it on and off until I could get it to send a signal. When the image appeared on the screen, it was clear and detailed. I read somewhere that after installation it can take a few minutes for the

Surprisingly easy solution to convert old wiring to HDMI

My house was built in 2002, just before HDMI became widespread, so I have a wired component that runs from the multimedia cabinet to the main TV in the great room. (Approximately 100 feet from A/V Receiver to TV). Since I overdid it a bit, I also have two regular coax cables (one for regular cable straight to the TV and a spare for whatever). Well, a spare coax just came in handy. I always put off switching to HDMI because my old A/V receiver only had component inputs and outputs. But I finally
