Good for metal!

I've only used this on a metal car door and so far so good. I wanted a good, strong point of impact on the sheet metal, but it was a thin point of impact. That's why I give three stars. Maybe it's better for the tree, although I haven't tried it.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Great punch! Grains

Fantastic grain. The best I've ever used, by far. For years I bought the cheapest tools and found them to be a waste of time. Everything I had from Starrett still feels great. This punch easily finds my back and stays sharp.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Older model

Pretty good good for medium recording

I don't have much experience with medium recording, but it works very well. I used it on a steel hitch and an aluminum body on my truck and it worked. Punches a small indentation <1mm for you to mark your spot. I highly recommend pre-drilling the indicated spot with a smaller bit before using a significantly larger bit to prevent uncontrolled slipping.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Loudness

A hit that is a hit.

Nothing to say about the grain. This is a center punch and makes really good indentations to start drilling the hole in the right place. The special thing about this grain is that I could buy it. Before looking at Revain, I visited three hardware stores, none of which had a grain. Two stores had so-called automatic punches, which have two obvious disadvantages: they're more expensive, and it's impossible to pinpoint exactly where the punch will make an impression. The image on Revain is…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No show
