Runs quietly on single board computers

Runs quietly and cools my Pi. LEDs on the fan are not required (I think RGB on everything). Installation on your Pi 3b+/4b takes about 5 minutes. Pros: * Quiet operation * Keeps the Pi cool for retropies * 6mm + 5mm active cooling (2.5 5mm + 5mm would be better) * You'll want to stack the thermal pads to get the right height (pads have the wrong size) * LED on the fan (it's bigger because I think it's not needed) Notes: Most casual users won't need that big a cooler as most applications don't…

Only if you really need it

Nice cooler, nice RGB lighting and a fan that isn't too annoying. Temperatures not seen by others with PI 4 CPU @ 2147MHz, 1.0441V and 750MHz GPU. Did a few CPU stress tests and the final temperature stabilized at 54C with an ambient temperature of 23C. Replacing the thermal pad for some Arctic MX-4s dropped to around 49C, but the heatsink surface was non-slip but it doesn't look perfectly smooth and that might help too. It's a bit overkill unless you're running something CPU intensive. For…

This little thing is amazing!

I ran cpuburn directly for 15 minutes with a Pi 4 Model B 8GB processor overclocked to 2147MHz and the GPU to 700MHz and the highest temp I saw was 48 °C. I used Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut thermal paste instead of the included thermal pads, which probably helped save a few degrees, but overall this thing kills if you're building an emulation system and want the best possible performance with high reliability. UPDATE: I saw that another reviewer has a photo of the case for this item that he…

I keep buying them because they work better than others

I am a regular customer who keeps buying this radiator because it works better than other options. I've tried simple cardboard cases with fans, a small glued-on heatsink, a large black all-aluminum heatsink (with or without a fan), or just vertically mounted and passively cooled. Since my applications will be hosted in unshaded outdoor enclosures in the hot southern regions of the US, I needed something that could efficiently dissipate heat, and this heatsink came through in my testing…

It works as intended.

Due to a delivery error from Revain I had two of these and I have to say they work. When I installed the first one and saw the temperature drop on the Raspberry PI 4G model, I was impressed enough to buy another Raspberry PI 4 (the 8G model this time) just to have it on it (okay, that was halfway there plausible). My apologies for buying another PI). I hit the 4G PI so hard that I'm wondering how it didn't catch fire and melt (100% CPU and RAM for just over 2 hours) and while it heated up as…

Excellent profile, still a bit expensive

Much better profile than the vertical model. It blocks the camera connection and the price is still too high for the overall quality. This model didn't have screws for the fan but instead had a mounting bar that made it very difficult to replace the fan, which I did. I installed a 5V Noctua 40mm x 10mm fan. Almost noiseless at 5V. It also has no annoying RGB. One star so far for the price. I would buy for all my Pis but if it's just $12 less than the 3B+ and 4b 1GB boards which are 66% cheaper…

Very cool (pun intended)

Great for cooling Raspberry Pi 4. I chose this over the higher version mainly because I liked the potential for more heat pipe contact with two separate 5mm heat pipes liked. through the CPU block versus a single pipe in the high version (https://www.amazon.com/GeeekPi-Raspberry-Cooling-Cooler-Heatsink/dp/B07V35SXMC). Installation: I took a Dremel with a polishing attachment and polished the area of the heatsink that contacts the processor on the rPi and polished the top of the rPi processor…

What a cute little heatsink

I chose the downdraft cooler for the dual heatpipes and airflow around all components of the board. With such energy-intensive components, any heat sink with heat pipes is sufficient. Installation: easy. The cooler comes with all mounting hardware (plus extra standoffs, nuts and bolts), a nice little acrylic stand and some thermal pads to interface between the CPU and the cold plate. (I went with an Arctic MX-4 I had lying around.) You probably don't need to worry about the correct mounting…
