That makes work quick. Insert the hanger into the instrument, attach the top screws, pull out the instrument and tighten the remaining screws. So glad I bought this!

The tool made it easier and faster. It would have been even better if the lumber purchased at the time had been of better quality.

While the concept is great, it doesn't work very well with compression wood due to the significant size difference between the boards. Okay, just $30 down the drain.

Huge time saver. I even tried making my own hanger for my 2x12s but this tool was a lot easier to use. Especially if you're thinking of using screws instead of nails. I've even used it to align double joist hangers and it worked well.

In use today. I didn't use the lower lip, however, as I needed to go higher. I ended up using them for the clearing function that this jig offers. All I did was use them at an angle and use my palm to hammer the nails in. The device worked. Some of the 2x8s needed an extra pull or hammer as the wood goes in nice and neat. I would buy again.

This tool sped up the installation of 44 2x6 beam hangers and improved height alignment consistency. It's plastic but has held up well to my use. This tool will not work if your bar depth matches the edge bar or bar - either because the edge bar is the following size or was made in a different factory. My only slight complaint is that the price is a bit high.
