Update 6/5/2018: MUST READ! I downgraded my rating from 5 to 1 because the bulb suddenly started smoking. It's good that I was home to smell the burning. I saw smoke coming out of the bulb and part of the bulb was brown indicating where the burn was coming from. I have used it as a heat source for two of my terrapins.
