The bad thing is that the company knows all this and more.

This article is the biggest joke I've ever seen at Revain. I have a sink as stated for use, the minimum use I have and for the unit to even start heating water you get less than a trickle of water. It could work in a children's dollhouse. The bad thing is that the company knows all this and only gives you a short time to return it, and then it's yours forever. You buy it, better install it the day you receive it, and return the piece of crap the next day. Oh wait, take my word for it, DO NOT…

Pros
  • Sleek design

  • Could have chosen a newer model

Great device if you know what to expect.

The device works as it should and the lack of stars is my own expectation. I was hoping for instant hot water. What it delivers can range from cold to warm or hot water depending on the speed and duration of the flow. Once the faucet is open it takes about a second to turn on, then you need to adjust the water flow to 1. get hotter and 2. stay on. Too slow and it turns off. And if you turn off the hot faucet for a minute or so and then turn it back on, the water that has been in the heating…

Follow up: TOTAL JUNK

Update - I loved this little thing until it stopped working completely about 6 weeks after the (expensive) install. Tried to contact Revain for return/warranty information but no response. Sad. I fell in love with it to realize it's a crap product from a crap manufacturer. I installed it in a protected open area on my ranch so my ranch helpers would have a very convenient place to wash their hands frequently during CovidTIme. It's right in front of their office/meeting place so they can clean…

Great for extra heating

Model POU 6 Six years old and still working well. My kitchen is far from my water heater so I installed it to get hot water faster. I didn't use a flow restrictor as the water at 1.5-2 GPM is warm enough for most tasks like light rinsing, washing hands, etc. If I need warmer water, I just turn on the tap. a little down. But when the main house hot water (120 degrees Fahrenheit) reaches this heater, I get very hot water out of the faucet and into the dishwasher. I would not recommend this if you

Better than a tank for a rarely used faucet.

Although this water heater cannot do what a regular tank water heater can, it is suitable for a faucet that is rarely used. It delivers about 120 degrees of water when the faucet is only half open. I didn't use the flow restrictor aerator that came with the kit as we like to have higher flow and it's easy to control when we need hotter water. I chose this particular unit because I have a couple of better rated water heaters from this manufacturer and they work very well. Only thing is they…

A little missed! But all in all I am (YET) very satisfied!

Update: 12/27/2020 This device has now been in daily use for 2 years. It is installed in an RV where either I or other people live permanently. MY FIRST REVIEW REMAINS; This water heater met my needs (in central Florida) even during the coldest part of winter. The only issue is the low flow rate required to achieve a 35°F surge, but that's a factor for power in and out. The limiting factor is 120VAC, which I chose to allow (sometimes) use on a solar/battery powered inverter. I strongly…

Updated: Does the job - good product

First heater was DOA - made a little worse as there is no way to test it until it is installed. Revain solved my problem by immediately sending a new block that worked like a champion. Although it comes with a flow reducer (0.5 gpm), I have not installed it. Didn't need it. Live in Virginia where the average inlet water temperature is about 60*F. This thing heats up enough to make hand washing convenient. I'm sure it won't work in the shower, but it's waiting for the deep garage sink and…
