Great stop but lots of creaks.

I have been using Hawk HPS in my car for many years and decided to try LTS on my 2011 GMC Sierra. They last great but squeak terribly even when warmed up a bit. I cleaned and lubricated well and assembled using Hawke's procedure. I will replace soon.

Better than stock 2012 Silverado pads

Better than stock pads. I've only driven about 1000 km with it. So far there is no noise or brake dust. I'm happy with them, but they don't blow my mind in terms of performance. (Note: The 2012 Silverado 1500 comes with only front discs, which is all I have installed.)

They were installed within the last three months. .

Installed in the last 3 months. I drive moderately aggressive. Didn't notice any difference in braking performance. As another reviewer pointed out, these pads produce a lot of brake dust. If it was time to replace them I wouldn't order them again.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

They are amazing so happy I bought them and will be using them.

They are amazing so happy I bought them and will use them forever. No track testing but a serious head jerk when I stopped normally. Definitely grippier and shorter stops. If they even give me 2 feet to keep me from falling they are worth more than the difference with regular pads!

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers

Loudest, Worst Brake Pads

I had a set of Hawk HPS brake pads on my 2008 Silverado 6 years prior. They were great, but recently it was time to change them, so I went with LTS. You are terrible. I'll be taking them off my truck very soon because they're rubbing and squeaking so loud I can't stand it. Сначала я подумал, что, должно быть, установил что-то не так (я устанавливал свои собственные тормоза на каждую машину, которая у меня была в течение 20 лет, и никогда не было проблем), однако при дальнейшем изучении этих…

Improved brake feel compared to original pads

Last summer I started having brake vibration and shaking on my car so I replaced the original brakes. New centric rotors (premium front) with Hawk LTS pads. The Hawk LTS pads have greatly improved brake feel and performance over the original pads I had on my 2015 GMC Sierra 1500. LTS pads make modulation easier. brake and apply less pressure to the pedal to achieve the desired braking effect. I changed the brake discs and pads about 6 months ago. Despite lubricating the back side of the pads, I
