Made this purchase for a monitor replacement rather than the TV. The P2770HD replaces the 23-inch Acer H233H, which has similar inputs for DVI, HDMI and of course VGA. The Samsung SyncMaster P2770HD has a high display resolution for VGA and HDMI. I use it as a secondary display for my laptop. It is very easy to set up screen cloning or desktop extension. However, I am unhappy with the part of the base that connects to the monitor, making it difficult to position the HDTV/monitor. It's only about 2 inches wide and the stand and bracket are plastic. Suddenly there is a thin green line that only appears in some colors even if you unplug all cables in TV mode. when using the self test tool, turn on the options in the menu, there is always a blinking green line on the left screen, i'm really disappointed as this is my third monitor from samsung 23"25"27". This is an amazing monitor, it took about 20 minutes to get everything working properly. I had to tell my laptop that I was sending video to the LCD TV. Once this happened, I was able to set the screen resolution to the highest setting for the monitor. This is a great TV and monitor. 27 inch screen with anti-reflective coating. The picture quality is excellent. Desktop inputs are located on the back of the TV. You will want to use one of these. You must not use the HDMI port for your computer. The HDMI connection is more suitable for Playstation 3 or Blu-ray players.

The Samsung 27 inch monitor replaced the Dell 22 inch monitor as I needed a larger display due to the imperfect view. I'm not using the recommended resolution. The best resolution for me is 1280 x 720. This is a fantastic TV monitor. I'm a Samsung fan. I also have two other Samsung TVs. This TV is great too. The bracket could have been stronger, but since I only use the TV as a monitor, it still doesn't move. The set was delivered on time thanks to AMAZON. I highly recommend this item.

Great monitor from Samsung! I mounted it on the wall and it was a little blurry at first until I realized I had the resolution set for my old Dell 19" (go to the control panel and find your graphics card settings and change it to 1080p, 1920x1080 HD monitor). I've had this TV/monitor for 4 days now. Bought to replace a much older Sony 42 inch projection model. Looks great on the wall and great so far. Most mention that you need to adjust the color/brightness. I believe that's true of almost any TV or monitor. that I have used. I will not refuse because I had to adjust it to my liking.
