Valuable purchase, nothing but pluses!

We purchased a XEROX Versalink C405 laser MFP based on the declared parameters: print speed of 35 ppm, in practice, fast work with voluminous documents was confirmed, while the two-sided automatic printing function and a large tray with a capacity of 1250 sheets are very appropriate. Works uninterruptedly for six months at a maximum load of 80,000 pages / month. When using original consumables, we take high-capacity cartridges of 8000 pages - a relatively cheap cost of printing comes out.

Pros
  • MFP (printer, scanner, copier, fax), color, two-sided printing at a speed of 35 ppm, number of pages per month - 80,000, maximum resolution - 600*600

Great product, a pleasure to use.

Chips for toner and drums (combined with developers) are cheap. I have relatively small print volumes and mostly black color, when it is not possible to buy native cartridges from 6600/6605 С400/C405, I use original cartridges from Versant 80. I took out the plastic plugs there, filled it, closed it. A separate mining bunker (there is an optical sensor) costs a penny, i. E. When refueling, nothing needs to be poured out of the cartridge.

Pros
  • Low cost of printing on the original, I took it only on the basis of this. The closed tray on a pack of paper in base.
Cons
  • There are no paper size sensors in the feed trays - you have to select and confirm the paper size every time. There is no presence sensor in DADF - because of this, you cannot configure default actions, you have to do two actions to complete the scan (for example, I always scan to mail). Given the penny cost of sensors and Hindu programmers, it is difficult to understand such savings from Zirax Corporation. There are no "beds" for chips on the starting drums.

I like everything, the price and the quality are both ok.

Pros below: Excellent, high-quality and not very expensive color laser printer (MFP). Equally good for printing heaps of business papers and photographs. The streaming scanner is great for digitizing large, multi-page documents. Works over a network, supports AirPrint. Cons below: A flimsy case, crispy and terribly frightening with its sounds when you try to open it or just inadvertently touch it. Useless NFC. Many paid applications for wild money: integration with Dropbox, OneDrive and other f

We took the device to the office in order to gradually switch to color printing, the main criteria for choosing were a reliable brand, savings in printing, so that there were large cartridges, and a large paper tray so as not to insert it several times a day, wireless printing for employees, working on laptops over WiFi. In general, expectations from the device are justified,

Pros
  • The quality and speed of printing are decent, a capacious tray and cartridges with a long resource
Cons
  • not yet discovered

Not a bad product, quite normal quality.

Regarding the second point of shortcomings. After purchasing the device and initialization, a window popped up on the display of the MFP with the following content "enter the activation code for the plan for consumables", the window can be skipped, but a warning appears that it will not be possible to print more than 1000 pages and the counter goes down after each printed page. Called tech. XEROX support, they asked for the serial number of the device and after checking they answered that this…

Pros
  • 1. Fast printing 2. Quality printing 3. Rich functionality
Cons
  • 1. There are difficulties with setting 2. Tech. support does not always answer questions correctly.

I am satisfied, the purchase is quite successful.

Dear Xerox, taking into account the frequent breakdowns of some equipment of your production, I suggest that you either extend the warranty period for some types of breakdowns or reduce the market value of "consumable" components by 3-4 times. For example, the price of the main board in the market is $120. Do you offer me to buy them in bulk after the end of the warranty period and change them every six months?

Pros
  • Great machine if it didn't break so often. When I bought, I looked back at many years of successful experience with the 6600 and 3615 devices, but alas :( By the way, I bought two more B405DNs for our office. So far so good (they are BW =)))
Cons
  • Didn't work when purchased. The machine did not see all the color cartridges. The store took it to the service and returned it after 2 weeks. Brain replacement. After that, he worked for 8 months (1600 prints). Those. a set of starter cartridges was used up by half. Again the same problem. I called the service - again the replacement of brains. They fixed it. I'm already thinking about spraying it with holy water.

Almost impossible to install on Windows 10

The printer was completely overshadowed by the extreme difficulty of installing a printer on a modern modern computer. Based on previous reviews, I signed up for Revain's installation service to install. Though a savvy techie, even with Xerox support on the phone, was unable to install it. I am still getting printer error messages and cannot print wirelessly. I wouldn't recommend this as things should be better. It seems that Xerox does not support small businesses or at least this product…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Modern

Attention buyers: printers and accessories

I'm not one to write reviews. But I have to express my dissatisfaction with Xerox. I run a company with 1500 employees in 110 offices. Each location has 2 printers. We bought about 10 of these printers to see if we can switch the entire company. NO! This is not a printer. Yes, we had a break. But printers break. There are moving and interchangeable parts. It happens. This is Xerox support. We have receipts for every printer. When we call Xerox for support, we are told the warranty has expired…

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not the best

Cheap scrap for printer

The print quality is unsurpassed and it prints approx. 8000 prints perfectly, unfortunately after 2 years light printing there are only errors when switching on. Either the connector is loose or something needs to be replaced as there is an optical error and after looking up the code people say it is either a loose cable or the scanner needs to be replaced. In any case, 2 years lifespan is not acceptable for the price of this printer. What annoys me the most is a bug with the scanner, when…

Best multifunction machine for the money

I'll be brief. This is the best value for a fast, feature-rich, full-color device that money can buy. This is my second one and it's really shocking with the quality of this machine. First, it uses genuine Xerox toner and delivers the quality you expect from Xerox. Everything you need, including scanning to email or desktop, is incredibly easy with a lightning-fast set of processes. If you're new to computers, call Xerox Customer Care, who will remotely connect to your computer and set…

  • New

  • Low maintenance

DO NOT BUY THIS FEATURE

I spent almost $800 on this printer and I haven't even had it for 6 months and it never works properly. Right out of the box it had trouble finding the internet (it's a shop so we have a properly installed very expensive server) so we ended up hardwiring it to the ethernet. Then I had to send it back. Since then, the problems have not stopped. The printer keeps getting a "device error". We sent it to a local technician and spent $300 on a replacement part that is needed every 25,000 pages…

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • too stupid

Small Office Printer

We bought this printer/scanner to replace a rented printer/scanner in my office as we have gone paperless and now print very little paper. Xerox has been a good product for me in the past and so far seems like a good choice. Note that if you enter the administrator password incorrectly multiple times, you will run into problems as this will lock you out of the device and you will need to pay Xerox technicians to help you. The documentation says the password is 1111 or 11111, but it's out of…

  • Negative Gift

DOES NOT support Dropbox. Also slowly.

So I paid a significant premium for the C405 over the 6515, especially for the cloud integration promised in Revain's description, manufacturer's website and product brochure. Well they left some stars. First, there is no built-in cloud integration; You need to download "apps" to activate them and all apps have a monthly/annual maintenance fee. As far as I can tell, each cloud service you want to connect costs $10/month or $100/year, on top of what you pay for the cloud service itself. There's…

  • Everything is fine!

  • Poor set
