Ultra Fiber Discs provides high heat resistance essential for street performance and mild racing applications. The discs have a copper weave that will increase the heat resistance characteristics and burst strength eliminating the need to reinforce the friction material with steel plates. Clutch covers are designed to achieve clamp loads that are 40% than the OE part allowing a higher torque transmitting capacity. Pressure plates are manufactured using ductile material allowing for high burst strength in all temperature ranges. The unique Ductile material ensures durability and long life.

Clutch approx. 15% stiffer than stock

Clutch harder to press Not much of a difference but you'll notice it in stop and go traffic. Clutch knocks slightly when idle. Paired with the Competition Clutch 2-800-STU flywheel, it's a perfect match. The clutch grips well. Make sure you go 500 miles without attempting to step in the clutch. Motorway driving is okay, just drive like a grandma. Installed on my RSX 2002 5 speed.

Performance & Ride

Well I had mine installed at the Honda dealer along with a lightweight flywheel. So I can't say anything about installation. In terms of performance, I'm an avid driver and have pushed my cars to the limit from time to time without worrying about my grip. Grip is great and pedal feel is close to factory and traffic is not an issue. I've had a 500 mile slump but I currently have about 10,000 miles on it.

So far so good, let's see if it holds up. a bit expensive but still cheaper than any other site as the main site has free shipping

at first i thought it was too expensive but i saw "used/opened". Crate. for 200 dollars and for that it was only an open box everything was there without damage. Installation took 9 hours. Clutch disc looks like original, only different material and improved pressure plate. small difference to stock. Shifts better at high rpm, slightly rougher on first engagement compared to stock clutch. let's see if it holds up. Hopefully! civic 2009. if you don't have a sports car. go to stock

Where to start with that.

I cannot express how happy I am with this product. I drive a stock Civic Si 08. At 17km I had the 3rd gear synchro replaced (these cars are notorious for that). After 17,000 miles (34,000 now) the transmission felt sluggish and there was the occasional drag in 3rd gear no matter how careful I was (I'd say I take better care of my car than 80% of SI drivers). An Exedy Stage 1 clutch paired with an Exedy HF02 flywheel ($250) brings the car back to absolute driving pleasure. The gearbox is nice…
