I bought this product to fit a 35" spare tire in the bed of my truck and to my pleasant surprise it actually got better (more durable) . ) then I thought! I'm going to drill my bed and bolt it to the cross member which will be much stronger than just bolting it to sheet metal.

Very easy installation, nothing complicated but check your installation if you install it on the bottom of the bed. Assembly was easy but I have no idea why there are small holes in the center panel. I was thinking of nuts but the center plate will be off center. I can't find a picture anywhere and there are no directions anywhere.

very thick but the picture doesn't do it justice. It's well made, works great and looks great! My replacement will not move from my own mount at all (using this method to secure it). It's a lot easier than bolting on a tire and making or finding something with a specific bolt pattern. It fits perfectly and sits firmly on the bike so nothing moves and everything stays secure.
