I would give this product 5 stars except the red insulator is pink rather than red. It looks like it's pre-faded. The company sent me a self-questionnaire after I received it and I told them I'm keeping the shackles but the insulator was pink rather than red but after my reply I never got a reply from them. It may not be a big deal, but the rest of my restraints and highlights are red (black jeep). Anyway I bought spare insulators and now all is good.

Bought these in addition to 2 tow straps and a 30ft rescue harness. I have an 18 JGC Limited with a hitch and the hitch fits well, the pin is nice and tight, very thick steel, surprised at its weight, it's not a toy, it will take a beating. I don't ride off-road or trails, but I do get caught in nasty blizzards and downpours. I keep seeing trucks pull off the road. Always be prepared for the unexpected. made a tool box just for straps, hitch, shackles and some tools. Be careful!

These are shackles that mess up the base element quite badly. The cover is advertised as a fancy double coat, but I brushed it off by simply turning the pin into a shackle on first use. Of course, you don't normally get caught on a loop in a safety chain hitch, but the load was very light as I was stuck like a 1 foot by 1 piece of snow. Good quality clips, I like that they have an extra elastic band where you can attach a hook or rope. The color is shinier than I prefer, I wish they were matte red. Also, the screws should be left unpainted, when you start turning it will get stuck there because of the paint. This includes extra soft rubber washers which I think are fine but need to be glued in at the factory. They move and are easy to lose. They felt it was unnecessary.
