These are professional cables as the person making money from them I know. Great length, strength and gauge of wire. Use it every day and so far its durability has not been questioned due to being dropped and thrown. Great value for money, I will order more.

High quality cables they are well made and durable when you hold them in your hands. I bought these to make a homemade emergency kit and was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked them. I haven't had to use them yet, the handles are covered and well made. I would recommend and buy again.

The cables are longer than the length of a car. So if you're rescuing someone who's boarded, you can still bounce them. 4 gauge wire, nice and thick, lets the electrons flow. The clamps are large, strong, and adhere well to the battery posts. These are the cables you need when you or a friend are stuck in traffic.

Durability has 3 stars for now because I don't know yet. It is new and has not been used, so its durability cannot be assessed. I've been looking for a decent set of patch cords because mine tend to expire and find new owners. Since I only needed the cables, I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived with gloves, a wire brush, and a carrying case. I know it was my fault for not reading the cable specs, but honestly, who doesn't like getting a little extra functionality?

Upon receipt, however, the cables feel suspiciously light for 1ga pure copper. I pulled back the rubber grip and looked at the bruise. You can see it in the photo. Silver tips peek out from under the copper plating where the strands are cut. Copper is never silver in color. This is a CCA cable. If you only need CCA cables, they seem good but overpriced. I wanted pure copper, paid a premium but they are not genuine. Now they are returning to Revane. Buyer Warning!

Advantages: 1) Looks high quality. 2) Great that it comes with gloves, rust brush and paper instructions. Saves me the hassle of Googling the correct order to clamp the battery terminals 3) asymmetric clamp gives you more clamping options, in theory Bad: 1) It was a lot harder to press the clamp than the smaller old jumper cables.
