Decent product, annoying stickers.

They work well but they have a thin paper sticker + sticky glue on them (not shown in supplier's product photos). It takes about 20 minutes to remove them. I am attaching a photo of the materials required. Given that the people who buy This Sort Thing are obsessed with cleanliness, why would you?

Pros
  • Heavy Duty
Cons
  • Mostly OK but...

Blessed stickers ruined them. took 35 minutes to peel and peel

Should have addressed the complaints about the cross wrap sticker in previous reviews. Upon opening the package, the cross sticker stuck to the permanent 12" long product sticker and ripped it off. It looked awful. I love the 12" cross sticker - as a buffer between my tools and the metal magnet. I am currently trying to get replacement stickers or replace 12" units to resolve this product packaging quality issue. Thank you.

Pros
  • GOLS certification
Cons
  • Some flaws

Extremely strong magnet and easy to install.

love it and will buy again. Definitely recommend. Don't judge the collection of tools. It is borrowed, found, given. I was amazed at the power of magnets. It's the perfect way to organize my tools so I don't have to lug around a heavy tool box. It was very easy to install. I used anchors where there weren't any bolts for more support. I chose not to use the connectors, thinking this section would give me extra magnetic space, but it didn't. I am very satisfied with this product.

  • poorly thought out

does the job. Would I buy again (with disclaimer below).

The manufacturer asked me to rate this product. This is a good product - does what it promises. I haven't tested if it actually holds up to a five pound tool, but I haven't seen anything to suggest it won't either. I am deducting a star for myself due to a design issue. I would really, really, really want this handlebar to have mounting holes on 16" centers. This would give an overall length of about 17 inches. I don't like being able to just stick one end of this rod into a stud. Maybe I'm…

Complete rubbish do not buy

Calling them magnetic bars is almost ridiculous. They're barely holding a screwdriver, and even then it kind of crosses your fingers when you take your hand away. The included cheap Phillips screws must have been made in the worst factory in China. Even people in China will not like these Phillips screws. Don't waste a single cent of your money on this junk, I ended up just throwing them in the trash but when I tried to remove them the screw head came loose. I ended up ripping 3 off and leaving

Not exactly what I expected

So I bought another brand at my local hardware store. I was very happy with them except they were a little pricey. These, bought from Revain, were about half the price. and i think you get what you pay for. As others have said. Removing silly stickers is a chore. It took about 20 minutes to remove the stickers from 2 magnets. Something else. Magnets are placed in a kind of metal channel. and the channel is either not magnetic or the magnets are quite weak. box and tool. they don't stick to the…

good size, good workmanship. DON'T STICK A STUPID UPC STICKER ON IT!

What annoyed me about it: 1.) Big ugly stickers along the magnet that said 12" Magnetic Tool Bar (but I knew that when I bought them. But I needed a 12" magnetic bar 2.) Another sticker they wrap around the bar has a UPC barcode and a different name for what it is. It was totally IMPOSSIBLE to remove the other sticker, it kept peeling off. So now these bars look like crap in my toolbox. (I was okay with the magnetic sticker. At least I've seen it in pictures. But the other "price tag sticker"…

They have ceramic magnets. Might be stronger.

I really wanted to give this five stars, but there are a few things that are disappointing. First, and this can only be my fault, I hate the stupid labels on the front of these things. It looks like a label on a trash can that says "trash can". Really stupid. I understand it should be there from a marketing perspective, but they should really make it easy to remove. The good news is that with a sharp 1/4" chisel and some Goo Gone it only took me about 20 minutes and they are (IMO) looking…

Not 12 " Magnets

This is the first magnetic tool holder I've ever had, so I didn't know what to expect. It comes with Supplied with an amazing amount of accessories and they assembled exactly as you might expect. The only disappointment is that the magnets themselves are not 12" but mounts. This means that even in an AC duct, the magnets are steel. and they have their ridiculous printed stickers on it that say 12 inch magnet part if you can't figure it out and they are very difficult to apply put some kind of…
