I think this is a good product

I didn't install it according to the instructions, I screwed it into the frame from the inside so the screws aren't visible but I think it'll be great

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Transparency

Security in a crazy world, wherever you live

Every home needs it these days! I don't trust smart locks. Can your WiFi be hacked? They're letting in some of the smartest thieves in the world today. They LOVE smart homes!

Ideal for protecting swing doors

I used this on swing doors as the latch and deadbolt were clearly visible and tucked into the gap between the door and frame. I only used the bulk but it was perfect and covered the exposed parts. The gap between the doorknob and the door frame was also very tight so this piece fitted perfectly. It also comes with special screws that are not easy to remove, so be sure to measure and install it correctly the first time!

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Can't remember

Does the job: Hardware

Easy to install and a good deterrent for would-be burglars looking for a quick job. I installed three of them. Two were easy setups but I had to change the third. The door frame overlaps the door a little more than usual, so there is not enough room for the bar between the door frame and the base of the door handle. I used an angle grinder to remove some material from the lath to fit the base of the doorknob. So far it's working as intended.

A simple home security product.

I happened to see one of them at the resort door. I've noticed that it's flimsy, flimsy and strong, but very difficult to break. I've searched and found this. It is easy to install and prevents a crowbar or other device from getting close enough to the latch to open easily. It's definitely a good deterrent. There were no screws with my purchase. As I said, but I'd rather have the high security screws and replace the supplied screws anyway. This works great in sheds and other outbuildings that…

Children can no longer stick a knife in a door and open it. For this Karen, try tossing your purse in her and see if it helps stick. No instructions? No problem, use your critical thinking hat. don't you have it Try this: Model a jig to frame the side of the door. CUT (the part that rests against the door when you close it). This is the part that looks like a Z, not a C ^^ Make sure your door is still closed and you have enough room for a C piece! Then mark and pre-drill 1/8-inch holes in the…

No Instructions/Template/Diagram

Ok how much is a sheet of paper and some ink for instructions? Unless you realize that some of these are security screws that won't come loose, so if you screw them to the wrong panel, you're out of luck. Even without a template, if you screw the plate on incorrectly, the door will not close and you will not be able to unscrew the screws because they are security screws. And looking at some customer photos, everyone has their own idea of how to place it. There is no protection in a photo. You…

But well done. for cabinet hardware

The manufacturer or seller really needs to provide instructions so I didn't give a star. Conceptually this isn't difficult to install, with the major caveat being that it's important to double measure your drilled holes and make sure your tolerances between the two blocks are such that your door can close normally AND assuming you have one latch that works . . . With this in mind, with the door closed and all the locks locked, align the two pieces. Then slide out the part that is on the door…

Simple and inexpensive retrofitting of the revolving door security system.

This door guard is useful for swing doors and provides an extra layer of protection against attempted tampering between the frame/bolt and the door locking mechanism (e.g. crowbar, flathead screwdriver, credit card or similar tool). . to unlock the door). It comes with 4 Phillips pan head screws for the part that attaches to the door and 4 security screws to attach the other part to the frame. There are also 2 short Phillips screws that are used to temporarily level the frame before using the…
