Makes a great pen holder if you collect fountain pens. :-)

Yes, I'm an idiot. I got this thing as a fountain pen when I got tired of my expensive fountain pen collection getting stuck in the pen cup on my desk. (By expensive, I mean pens that cost around $40-$75; not $200 or more; don't worry.) For some reason, it looks great on my desk as a pen. Bracket, not a test tube rack. :-) The construction is solid, no sticky lumps of glue, scratches, tool marks and the like.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Bad instructions

I love this test tube holder and use it to keep my brushes in their own tube. Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Like other reviewers, I use this fountain pen with ink and it works great for it. It's of great value for storing test tubes or other delicate items you use or collect (pens, razors, pencils, art brushes, spice tubes, etc.). That would be my favorite wooden shelf. excluding the various styles of wooden test tube racks manufactured by Eisco and sold by Revain…
