Fits wrenches

This tool set is serviceable but to be honest I was disappointed that it came with one of the handle caps from the tool. My concern is that they were damaged in transit - how will they hold up in use?

Pros
  • Heavy duty construction
Cons
  • Update available

Poor quality... good for hex key

Used to be a very good tool, I have some old Eklind screwdrivers which were of acceptable quality, these aren't as good, the two smaller sizes rounded off at the first use with me no longer.

Pros
  • Test for a year
Cons
  • boring packaging

Poor quality control

2mm end almost completely round. There aren't enough hexagonal edges for it to work properly and it slips off before you can tighten it, loosening any clasp. See photo. Other sizes are ok.

Pros
  • Good stuff
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Quality tool - fun to work with.

Revain immediately replaced my first order which was missing everything but one tool. I'm not sure why all but one were missing from the first set, but it may have been an automatic system pulling them out of their packaging. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Some small items

Do not buy! - Hex key

• There is no 3mm hex head in the set. At least 3mm, which is 3mm on my Bondhus 1.5-5mm set, and which worked with an M4 allen head screw. • The soft coating on the handle attracts dust and makes it look dirty. • The body is huge. Clearly designed to hold more riders. Takes up too much drawer space • Hex head dimensions are not marked on the handle. Stupid like back then, I just can't get the right size. Be smart. Hold on to Bondhus. Also made in the USA.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • I have no complaints about it, everything is fine

1.5mm screw loose on first use

I usually use Elkind hex wrenches so I thought they would be good. The first time a 1.5mm ball point screwdriver was used, the head of a screw snapped off (when attempting to REMOVE the screw). I figured it might be a coincidence so I tried the second screw out of 4 - also partially stripped. I had to cut the first screw. I removed the second screw and the remaining 4 with a 1.5 mm Wiha bit. I would not recommend this if you are dealing with something important or expensive. I *might* try…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers

Not what I expected from a US made product!

Bought this set because I needed 1.5mm, 2mm and 2.5mm for my RC truck. I used 2mm to tighten the screw in the drive yoke and the tip of the screwdriver rounded the corners so it can't be used now. The screw is metal and the yoke is plastic, so I didn't apply mega torque to it. I have to keep that in mind with the other two I use to just use them to back out a screw that's already loosened or screw it all the way in, not tighten. Not what I expected for something made in the USA!

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Some nuances

Very soft metal won't buy again

When these hex drivers were new they worked well and felt solid in my hand. But after using the 1.5mm and 1.3mm sizes, they wore out/removed after about 10-20 screws each. So after taking something apart for the first time, I couldn't put it back together because the hex driver broke off. The ball hex size of each driver is smaller than the shank, so you can't grind the ball hex and get a working driver of the same size. , even with very light pressure they became round and unusable.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Functionality

I bought 4 sets of hex screwdrivers and needed 1.5mm to 3mm screwdrivers first. Summary: The EKIND 92600 Precision Kit is by far the best if you need small drivers. The small drivers in the EKLIND 90609 set take second place, but they also have the advantage of really good large drivers. Bondhus are best for 3mm and larger drivers, but worst for the smallest drivers. The Wiha drivers are ok, but they are all a bit small for adult hands and the dimensions are not legible. The picture only shows…

  • Great price
