Winter protection of a paint and varnish cover.

Bought these for my wife's VW Tiguan to provide extra protection for the paintwork in the winter months. I used factory self-tapping screws for attachment. A week passed and a winter storm. I seem to be doing my job very well.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • I don't like anything about it, everything is fine

Good price looks good

I have this on my 2013 sonic rs. Fits great and is easy to install using existing thumbscrews and some holes in the valves. I noticed that the amount of dirt on the sides of the car has been reduced so they work great too.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Communication with seller

That's easy. Black PVC squares 25 inches thick.

These are black PVC squares only 0.25 inch thick. Had I known this, I would have used a sheet I have at work and cut it out (for comparison, a 48" x 96" PVC sheet costs less than $12) -> they cost less than 2, $50 + a pair. rounded corner and rally armor decal. What did I expect? I'm not sure.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Available in black only.

Good value all round fender

I have a Rally Armor urethane model on my 2014 FR-S and love it. When I got the truck I couldn't find anything comparable so I went back to Rally Armor, they're $22, the competitors are all in the $100 range. These are just regular hard plastic flaps. They are not drilled holes so you can place them however you like. I have a Chevy so half the holes are screwed in and the other half are plastic plugs. I would have preferred all the mounts to be the same, but Chevy didn't design that stupidโ€ฆ

Good for the price and very versatile.

Plain fender. It fits my SUV and makes a definite difference to the car, no more squishy streaks on the front doors or rear bumper, and at high speeds in the rain the cloud of fog behind the map is much smaller. The installation depends on your car, in my case I cut the front fenders a lot but the rear ones were installed as is, I used a combination of the original screw positions, plastic clips and some brackets. , Splashguard can be trimmed with heavy duty or kitchen scissors. For what I paid

  • The best in its niche

$25 for a logo and template, basically a cutting board

These are great entry level mudguards. Overall I like them and they are great base protection. I bought them mainly for aesthetic reasons and also to keep my paint a little cleaner. The thickness is good and the cut out template is useful for removing excess material. Please note, however: These are plastic films with an embedded logo. You can get fenders of exactly the same quality just by buying a cutout from Walmart or Ikea. boards and cut them to size. I wish they were a bit more flexibleโ€ฆ

Great affordable solution to mud and snow protection

Great price for a set of four fenders. I installed them on a 2005 Honda CR-V because I was tired of kicking snow out of the factory Honda fender which has deep pockets for mud and road grime to collect and then fall into my garage. I actually fitted these fenders to my existing fenders, primarily because I wanted to avoid drilling holes in the plastic fender liners themselves, which could allow salt and dirt to get where they should be. By drilling holes in the detachable fenders, I kept theโ€ฆ

I'm all for buying the best I can

So today I decided I'm sick of all this crap. I removed the factory Xterra fenders as they cannot flex and damage in the wrong direction. After riding without fenders for about 4 months I decided enough was enough for me. After a weekend at the track, I'm fed up with the mud on my X. I'm the one who buys the best I can when I can. As such, RallyArmor seems to make some of the best flaps out there. I know RallyArmor can be expensive, but after a little research I found Basic Flaps. They seemedโ€ฆ

About as much as a universal fender kit can get at this price point.

Fits well and gives the splash guard I was looking for at a very reasonable price. I had to drill holes I knew and it didn't matter much. Installation was straightforward and easy. I've never installed aftermarket fenders before, but it was easy, at least on my car. Most vehicles have at least one or more screws/rivets holding the plastic wheel wells and/or underbody panels together. I had two bolts on the back of each wheel arch so I could just unscrew them and mark the holes, drill the holesโ€ฆ
