Description of 🐠 Seachem Stability 250ml: The Ultimate Fish Tank Stabilizer for Freshwater and Marine Aquariums

TANK STABILIZATION: Seachem Stability will rapidly and safely establish the aquarium biofilter in freshwater and marine systems, thereby preventing the #1 cause of fish death: "new tank syndrome". TREATMENT: Stability is formulated specifically for the aquarium and contains a synergistic blend of aerobic, anaerobic, and facultative bacteria which facilitate the breakdown of waste organics, ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate. BACTERIA GROWTH: The necessary conditions for the growth of Stability's bacterial strains encompass a very broad range. When other bacteria begin to die off (usually from high organic loads caused by the unknown death of an organism), Stability simply becomes more effective. USE: Shake Seachem Stability well before use and turn off UV/ozone filter. Use 1 capful (5 mL) for each 40 L (10 US gallons) on the first day with a new aquarium. Then use 1 capful for each 80 L (20 US gallons) daily for 7 days. Fish and other aquatic species may be introduced at any time as long as the dosage is maintained for 7 days. SAFE: The bacteria employed by Stability are non-sulfur fixing and will not produce toxic hydrogen sulfide. Stability is completely harmless to all aquatic organisms as well as aquatic plants, thus there is no danger of overuse.

It really works, shake vigorously

Stability Seachem really works. Bacteria are in the spore stage until you put them in your tank, you have to wait for them to grow. After 2 weeks my ammonia levels stayed at 1ppm until the start of the 3rd week when I started seeing some nitrite. I've been using it for the last 7 days until my tank was completely tanked. Make sure you shake the bottle really well so the liquid looks milky, the spores are really hard to survive shipping when ordering.

I'm like a fish in water.

Great product, I'm new to this topic. And I've been using it for three days now because the store didn't tell me anything except what cycle Acurio should have. So I had very high levels of ammonia and as you can see in the picture I am changing both ammonia and nitrate. So guys I give you 100% credit for the death of my fish and I was discouraged and even considered gifting my aquarium. So my Youtube teachers encouraged me to move on to this product and buy it too (Api Master test kit). And now

Do not put fish in an aquarium without Sea Chem!

Stability is what an aquarium needs! Works very well and is a must have. I always use it to give a boost after cleaning a filter or substrate and of course when setting up a new aquarium as you can use it to add fish straight away. Just keep an eye on the ammonia and add (after a part change) more stability if there is still ammonia. Make sure you have some type of matrix in your filter that is high in aerobic bacteria (like SeaChem's Matrix filter media). I have owned aquariums for 30 years…

Perfect for getting your shiny new tank up and running quickly!

I have used Seachem Stability to successfully clean 2 aquariums and also to restore filter performance after a treatment or after very large water changes. This product has always worked well for setting or keeping my bacteria filter strong and I will continue to keep a bottle handy for future situations. I use it in combination with Seachem Prime to convert the ammonia into a form that the stability bacteria can use. I really like that you can't overdose, so when in doubt you can just pop in a

Seachem is the best, don't worry about other brands

This product is the best way to prevent your fish from dying due to New Tank Syndrome. Install a biofilter. Get these, Seachem Prime and Ammonia Warning (Seachem does it, it just hangs in your tank) to measure free ammonia in your tank (most tests measure free and combined ammonia, and if you have combined ammonia and not free , you will get a false positive with your test kit, only the free one is toxic) and your fish will not die. You know exactly when your ammonia and nitrite levels are high

Material WORKS! best aquarium water treatment

Every time I start a new aquarium without fish, I mark on the calendar exactly how many days it will last. My last aquarium, which I only launched in May 2021, was a 75 gallon tank that took exactly 35 days using Seachem Stability and regular odorless PLAIN household ammonia as the ammonia source. The aquarium I started just before last winter was 125 gallons and lasted 42 days. I have had six 3 inch discus, a few armored catfish and a school of 8 cardinal tetras in a 75 gallon aquarium for…

The most amazing bike tank product ever!

This is the most amazing product for cycling! I've been struggling with this for over a month. I didn't know anything about the nitrogen cycle until a few of my fish died. Then I started reading about it. I do daily water changes just to help my fish survive and have tried several different products that claim to contain nitrifying bacteria and some that claim to be an instant cycle. I checked and rechecked and all I ever got was lots of ammonia and no nitrates or nitrites. I got Seachem…

Works well to start the nitrogen cycle.

I prefer using three Seachem products to start nitrogen cycles faster than waiting weeks or months for things to go well. These products are ideal for removing chlorine/chloramine, ammonia, nitrite and nitrate. And AmGuard for fast blocking of ammonia to be less toxic. And finally stability for establishing and growing bacterial colonies. First, if possible, don't buy old or expired Stability bottles. Stability is only good if the contents of the bottle are fresh enough. As for the stability…

I am new to this hobby. I gave up Petco Finrot Betta. He was living in a 1/2 gallon hospital aquarium while I continued to research everything there was to know about aquariums. I also managed to prime the entire aquarium with Revine. Thanks to Seachem, my extensive research (nitrogen cycle is an important thing to learn) and Revain Prime. I now have a full cycle super healthy aquarium! This stuff worked great. I have a beta. They have little bioburden. So it took me longer to adjust my cycle…
