Aeternity includes several other features that differentiate it from other intelligent contract platforms and dapps. Notably, it includes a decentralized Oracle server that brings data from external sources for use in smart contracts. It also uses forecasting markets for various voting and verification purposes within the platform.

Aeternity is a very interesting project that went through a hardfork in February, the procedure that started the migration of the AE tokens to the mainnet, another hardfork in May and most recently in June of this year. In total, there were 3 hardforks this year, marking several stages in the full realization of the blockchain aeternity; each expanding and improving Aeternity's features. The Fortuna hardfork of the æternity protocol on June was a success and was adopted by the majority of miners.
The expectation that æternity could have great growth due to these improvements and soon a great appreciation

- Aeternity is a new platform for decentralized applications (dapps) launched in testnet in 2017. The project focuses on increasing the scalability of smart contracts and dapps. It performs scaling by moving smart contracts out of the chain. Instead of running in the blockchain, Aeternity's smart contracts run on private-state channels between the parties involved in the contracts.
