As the first in major cryptocurrency to be brought to the masses I believe that Bitcoin has done a great job at starting the cryptocurrency movement and as an overall value coin it is still the most widely used and major figure within the crypto Market. I don't see Bitcoin going away anytime soon but they really need to change some things with their fees and transaction time.

Pros
- The king of all cryptocurrencies makes it easy to buy and trade for many different altcoins.
Cons
- Slow transaction times and high transaction fees make it difficult to see future application across the board.
