When my bank blocked my purchase of a video game and told me that they can not allow the transaction to go through in my bank account simply because it was being transacted overseas, I knew the money in my bank wasn't truly mine anymore. I was furious and really just didn't want to believe that there were no other options for me to turn to. That is when I discovered Bitcoin, the king of cryptocurrencies. I bought a hardware wallet and set up my bitcoin wallet account within the hardware device. I hopped onto an exchange and dropped $500. Next, I sent the coins to my hardware wallet and within a few minutes, my transaction was confirmed by the network miners. Finally, I had acquired true ownership of my money as ironic as that may sound, (since it is all digital) all thanks to my handy private keys on my device. Yeah, there may be no "physical money" but with a bank account, there never was either. Using the Bitcoin Network has honestly taught me to be more independent and I now have decentralized digital assets that no government or corporate entity can stop or confiscate from me. Bitcoin made me understand why investors love the stock market. I mean Bitcoin totally converted me into a crypto enthusiast overnight. I recommend Bitcoin to everyone I know, (friends, family, coworkers.)
