Narrative is a company that created a blockchain-powered content economy. It's built on the NEO blockchain. Founders chose NEO platform because they think that NEO, considered the Chinese Ethereum, can give better performance in mediu-long period (lower transaction fees and a more flexible development environment with a quantum computing resistant protocol).
There are three types of content channels:
1) Personal Journals (they offer users a space where only their content can be posted. The content is not moderated and all members can view/comment);
2) Niches (they are communal subjects that anyone can post to. Each niche has an owner, who is rewarded based on the overall quality of content in the channel);
3) Publications (they are special channels designed for companies, personal brands, organizations or publishers that want to control who can post and manage the content on their channels).
So, Narrative can be defined as a "Content Economy” where rewards are generated for content creators, moderators and reviewers on the network. They use a system of reputation scores and ratings to make sure that bad content is effectively routed out.
Content is owned by users, moderators are elected, and a user-elected Tribunal is the most important authority on all issues related to content and data on the network. Every ad that appears on the network is subject to community approval, as well.
Advertisers will pay to get access to the network, 85% of all of the revenue will flow to those who have contributed.
