OmiseGO will eventually utilize Plasma on Ethereum for fast transaction speeds and Proof-of-Stake verification model for decentralization. With these pieces in place, OmiseGO is a blockchain to watch for at least the next several years.

- OmiseGO is one step closer to widespread acceptance of cryptocurrency as currency by retailers and merchants. If successful, it will basically act as the PayPal of cryptocurrency and that will be good for the market cap and coin price.
