Works great! As mentioned in other reviews; it's not all weather. I store my trailer indoors which is very convenient. But of course, pulling it in the rain is a real possibility. For outdoor stored trailers or boat trailers where the planned spare tire storage area may be permanently submerged, I would consider looking elsewhere. Although the price for it is extraordinarily cheap; So the exchange is far from a heartache. I used this to install an 8" spare tire on the tongue of my motorcycle cargo trailer (one towed behind the motorcycle). That worked very well. I needed spacers to keep the flimsy little 8" wheel in place, but it doesn't matter. At the time of writing this review, I've towed this trailer with the spares kit this way for just over 1,000 miles; no questions!
