It's not the device that has worked well so far. Let's start with the poor technical design of the part that has forced me to replace it 4 times since I bought the car 8 years ago. And if this part fails, it can cause serious damage to your vehicle. Your car runs on two cylinders while releasing gas into the non-combustible cylinders, which then blow unburned fuel into the catalytic converter, destroying it. But hey, it's not the fuel system's job to worry about whether your ignition system works, is it? If you have one of the many GM products that use this part, have a spare ready. Chances are you've already replaced it anyway.
