Received this because I lost the 12 volt plug on my portable DVD player after only using it once! It's very easy to find a 12v adapter with thicker plugs - I have a whole box of these - but very hard to find an adapter with thinner plugs. Since this whole kit is only a dollar more than a separate replacement power supply, I got it and it works great. Everything is average or above average. I think this is a great purchase. This could only be better if you can also change the voltage. I had one 30 years ago, but unfortunately it didn't have the right fork either. I'm hesitating between 4 stars (very good) and 5 stars (very good!). I decided to increase it to 5 to offset some of the unfair negative comments from others who just didn't know how to use it. It is NOT designed for high performance computers or voltages other than 12V, but for alarm clocks, radios, portable electronics, flashlights, fans, toys and the like. and ONLY 12V. Will I ever use any of the other tips I don't know but it does exactly what I need it to and the rest is just icing on the cake.
