Practical for at home 🏑

This plug saves lives! So I got in a little trouble. I had a few trinkets that fell behind my vanity and landed right on the fork. When trying to get the jewelry in question, I almost got electrocuted when the jewelry touched the protruding connector. Fireworks erupted from a socket. I'm fine but this plug was missing as you could see in the photo. Insert this power supply. I like to have them on hand because you can use them for pretty much anything. The 12V power supply is ok. But the individual adapter plugs are NOT 10mm long. Their length is 12 mm.

Power supply seems fine. According to my voltmeters it reads 12.22 to 12.24 volts with no load. I think it will drop a bit under load. So I think that's fine. The metal connector on the attached 5.5mm barrel connector is approximately 10mm long. That's what I expected. It fits all the devices I would use it with. I think a 10mm length is the industry standard for 5.5mm barrel connectors. Wikipedia states that 9.5 mm. who can measure it. Near enough. But I am very disappointed that all 9…

Great sentence! fits power converter

Received this because I lost the 12 volt plug on my portable DVD player after only using it once! It's very easy to find a 12v adapter with thicker plugs - I have a whole box of these - but very hard to find an adapter with thinner plugs. Since this whole kit is only a dollar more than a separate replacement power supply, I got it and it works great. Everything is average or above average. I think this is a great purchase.
