Great Product in Windshield Snow Covers

After looking at many of these products online, I chose this product for a number of reasons. Especially since I live in an area with VERY strong winds: it's not uncommon for 50-60 mph gusts to accompany our winter and spring storms. For this reason, I didn't want the product to be attached with magnets: I felt that if the magnets were held, they would likely scratch my paintwork in the process. I also liked the fact that it was made from 600D nylon: it's pretty durable for what it is! Cons: The elastic straps feel a little flimsy, I hope they hold up. I was concerned they would stretch after a single use, but it turned out they were just a little cold. One of the hooks was missing a plastic cap on the end. Although it may have fallen out, it was dark when I opened it. It also doesn't come with mirror caps, I had to buy them separately (other cheaper options are mirror caps). It's hard to fold when frozen: I'd recommend hiding it in the garage or hallway if possible until it thaws and dries, although I took it to work and wore it there. Pros: Easy to install, takes maybe a minute. May be. Stayed in the wind that accompanied the storm (although it hasn't been tested to 50mph yet). Even better: protects the windshield and wipers from icy drizzle! I saved at least 5-10 minutes waiting for my defroster to heat up enough for me to scrape off the layer of ice, which is worth the cost to me alone. I had no problem scratching my car. It fits my Mazda 3 (size M) perfectly. Overall this is a really great product and I would definitely recommend it to anyone unfortunate enough to spend the winter without a garage!
