Review on 🚗 JSD Spare Tire Winch Carrier Hoist 924-510: Efficient Solution for Silverado 1500 & Sierra 1500's 6 Lug Wheel Spare Tire Hoist by Jason Ortiz

I live in a state that gets a lot of salt on the roads in the winter. The "safety" latch on the original winches will rust in place, locking the replacement after a few years. So if you need a spare wheel, it cannot be taken from stock. Newer GM winches cannot be modified to remove the fuse, this one doesn't even have one. The paint on the winch was a bit thin so I repainted before installing.
