Review on MICHELIN X-Ice North 4 205/55 R16 94T winter by Ewa Jastrzbska ᠌

I like the product very much, fully consistent with my expectations.

Overall, I am satisfied with the goods, however I find the pricing to be annoying. If you had informed me the full amount, I would have assumed without a doubt that some sort of discount, rebate, or coupon would have been applied. Not a cure-all, not like summer on summer (this was already clear), not like a cow on ice (but here for many it would be =/- the same), I wanted, like the previous one, with approximately the same bad behavior on different roads, surfaces, so that there was no abyss, and I got it. Like you, I understood. I didn't use anything patently better, but there aren't many options available, and your mileage may vary based on the time frame and tools at your disposal. The NF100, the UG400, and the Nordman are aesthetically extremely similar. The first few sets I rolled on different machines were the ones I like the most. Regrettably, I no longer have any affection for them. That I no longer enjoy their company is the only difference. A majority of the spikes remain, and they are longer and stick out further, but the Nordman is missing half of his teeth.

Pros
  • Their behavior is fairly predictable in that they act with a high degree of assurance across a wide variety of surfaces. In comparison to similar tracks in the summer, this one is barely audible and produces just a moderate amount of noise. The differences between this and the Nordfrost 100 are subtle, with the exception of a more certain sensation when driving. rowing in the snow and porridge, with a few slips along the way but a happy ending. As a rule, I approve of everything.
Cons
  • Price (I was hoping for better results on the ice, but slippage starts early, and belly muscles screech repeatedly when using the brakes. The snowy oatmeal made them queasy at first, but eventually they settled in rather nicely. Even though the sediment hasn't completely washed away, I'm going to keep on rolling since you never know what can come up.
