I had a similar set of sockets from other brands that I kept in my car for years. The case broke almost immediately and my 10 head popped out like they were going to do. I bought this set to replace this one. The sockets fit nicely in a thick plastic housing that snaps firmly into a compact unit that fits nicely in my spare tire bin. If this new 10mm head develops the wanderlust characteristic of its kind, I hope this case will keep it where it belongs. As for the quality of the instruments themselves, that's to be expected given the price. Ideal for small routine tasks. I wouldn't put a three-foot cheat on a ratchet and turn a rusty bolt, but they meet my needs: a well-organized set of sockets in a handy little case that's unlikely to break with light use. .
