If you have something that actually needs some clamping to hold the pressure, like the heater hose in my case, they are useless. The clamp itself is so cheap/thin that it will literally self destruct if you try to tighten it. The actual part of the cap appears to be of good quality, but I had to cut it open to fit wider, stronger clamps that really hold the hose. Place. I think you will find others with the same comment I ignored so do it at your own risk and remember a clip is a clip. I was wrong. If it's purely cosmetic, do it.
